The doorbell rings. "Don't people ever call first any more? Who's that? I'm not expecting anyone..." groans Sarah.
Sarah takes a peek. It's her neighbor, Nancy. Sarah opens her door and Nancy walks right in before Sarah can make some excuse!
"Oh my gosh," thinks Sarah as Nancy chatters away.
"My place is a disaster!!"
Sarah smiles, but inside, she's having an anxiety attack!
"Nancy's home is always PERFECT. It even SMELLS great. Meanwhile, my home is a PIGSTY!!" thinks Sarah.
Sarah is so embarrassed. Mortified. Wants to melt into the floor.
"This place is disgusting! I don't know how I let things get this bad... I've got to do something."
Sarah's day is ruined now.
"I've TRIED to tackle this mess a hundred times!! But I just end up frustrated beyond belief!"
Sarah truly WANTS to have a lovely home.
But every time she tries to get organized, her place actually gets WORSE, because she can't finish the task!
Sarah is not alone.
Millions of people feel the same way Sarah does. They just can't find the solution.
Every time my friend Linda tries to relax
in her living room after a long day, her eyes go to the same pile of junk that's been sitting
there for months.
Just looking at that pile makes her feel like a failure.
Then there's Dave. He can't find his important papers.
He moved to his current home two years ago, but he still has not unpacked most of his boxes. And he has no idea what box those papers could be in.
Beth is a busy mom. She never gets around to
organizing those precious photographs of her children...
Then disaster strikes - literally. Her photos gets destroyed during a flood.
They can never be replaced. Beth bitterly regrets that she put off organizing them like she's been planning to for the past five years...
We pay for our clutter and disorganization dearly.
But one fact remains:
